May i ask you what is the basis of transferring the pastors in another place since he is only 3 years in his present assignment, and they don’t have any serious problem within the church which he is ministering? I am much aware that we have a moratorium of minimum 4 years in church assignment.

I appreciate your query as to the practice of transferring IRM workers. There is really tension when the interest of the denomination and of the local congregation is at stake. — The problem is traceable to the church policy of the IRM, which is Episcopalian. — The problem can’t be explained fully here.
The four years minimum is not mandatory and absolute, it is relative. The term being used in the Saligan is “hanggat maaari” (if I am not mistaken).
